Peter Quora: 5 April 1281... (to 1 September 1396?)
Early Life
Peter Quora was born in Combria as an only child. His father, Roger Quora, worked as a Federal Marshal while his mother, Annette Quora, worked as an accountant. In November 1286, they relocated to the town of Bogedary in the province of Gymia, where Quora would live until his college years.
Youth
Peter Quora's father motivated him to train and become a Federal Marshal. He made sure to enroll Quora in the local Rotary Scout Legion during the summer months. Quora, during this time, also demonstrated intellectual giftedness. So during the school year, he received an education in his local school's Enrichment Program, and graduated from high school at the top of his class. Furthermore, the Quora family raised him with a deeply religious upbringing and had him attend church regularly as well as take part in religious mission programs.
Quora was inspired, following high school, to enroll into the Three Points Academy to train and become a Federal Marshal in accordance to his father's expectations. However, doing so required a rigorous entrance exam, which Quora failed to pass in 1299. Since the Academy permitted each candidate to attempt the entrance exam only once in their lifetime due to intense competition, Quora was forced to consider other programs, of which he selected the Reserve Training Corps Program at Cabotton University. This Program required an entrance exam as well; and Quora failed it in 1300. However, the Cabotton University program permitted candidates to attempt the entrance exam multiple times; and in 1301, Quora passed and enrolled into the University to pursue the RTC Program and its required major: Psychology.

Quora's first few weeks in the Reserve Training Program left an impression on the Head Instructors, who noted his unusual talent. Furthermore, his parents were satisfied with him up to this point, for, in the face of the ensuing economic turmoil happening that year, the Program would almost guarantee him placement in the Federal Marshal program, which promised robust job security.
However, Quora had also decided to sign up for a few of the many extra-curricular activities offered by the University, primarily the Third Level Society. And it was here that Quora was exposed to the practice of dymensionalism as well as Ceri Mains and her practical darkfire contributions. Until then, Quora had been indoctrinated into believing that darkfire was a morally corrupt practice; but now, he was beginning to change his stance. He began taking deep interest in Ceri Mains' theories and attempted to put to the test a few of the ones that Mains never had an opportunity to carry out.
His required time commitment in the Reserve Program left him barely any opportunity to carry out Mains' tests either, leaving him with a difficult choice. During the spring semester of 1302, Quora kept his Psychology major but dropped out of the Reserve Training Program and enrolled into the Hobbes School of Spellfire Crafting. Being able now to carry out Mains' tests, Quora pursued this course of study until graduation in 1305, after which he re-enrolled at Cabotton University for a Master's Degree in Planecrafting, which he completed in the spring of 1308.
The Study
In the spring of 1308, just before his graduation, Peter Quora traveled to the Basin District, where he attended a town hall meeting in Reverance Hall led by a guest lecturer from the Leyeasah Maritime Council, who discussed the speculated existence of "dimensions," or alternative universes, as opposed to the existence of "dymensions," or the created mock universes. According to the guest, such "dimensions" could be accessed by hallucinogens and other substances.
This interested Quora, for it drew upon his educational background. And he began to speculate on whether or not the practice of dymensionalism could be enhanced by darkfire. Ceri Mains had already proved that granular animation could be enhanced by it. But Quora wanted to test the ability of darkfire to actually create a dymensional plane.
Beginning in May 1308, Quora consulted with Ereautean Councillor John Hartmann to propose a federally-funded research study on Quora's hypothesis. After intense debate and multiple failed attempts to secure passage of such a measure, Quora and Hartmann finally succeeded. In the middle of June 1308, the study was carried out and led darkfire to produce a dymensional plane that lasted 7.12 seconds.
Plans were made for more experiments to be carried out but threats from Walter Scott Mason and the "Knights of the Common Good" forced the study to discontinue.
The Project
When the 1309 Revolution brought the Finzi Administration into power and legalized darkfire, Peter Quora re-established a similar darkfire/dymensional plane study. However, this ongoing study was different in that it only involved using darkfire to add to an already-existing dymensional plane while using Ceri Mains' methods to implement granular animation. Such studies were carried out in the protected area of the Lake Maern Reserve and became part of an ongoing research program that eventually became affiliated with Cabotton University.
In the wake of the deaths of Martin Cross in 1314 and Thomas Snow in 1315, Peter Quora conceived of a Project to carry out the Three Foundational Principles established by the two figures in the 1231 Dymensional Plane Project. Quora hosted a Conference at a residence in North Kempton, to which he invited Ceri Mains and the Third Level Society Dungeonmaster, Susan Parans. This Conference took place for the majority of the month of September 1315, and resulted in a precise blueprint of the implementation of Quora's plan. This was proposed to the Commonwealth Council in October of that year, after having received endorsement from Prime Minister Finzi. However, the Council had its priorities set on floating the lightfire industry through government business grants. Quora was persistent in attempting to secure funding from the Commonwealth Council, and, after three years of struggle, finally received it through a measure of budget reconciliation passed in November 1318.
And so in the following year, the Project began. It began with Ceri Mains' contribution to the plan: a darkfire enhancement measure put into place on Mount Carris to secure the darkfire needed to establish granular animation for full-body immersion. Over the course of that year, large numbers of workers from Gymia and Western Combria were paid to move to the site of a large dymensional frame constructed in the region of South Masonia. By October, the apparatus was complete and the power stream from Ceri Mains completed as well; and Peter Quora was on the cusp of premiering a first-ever dymensional plane representation of Remikra. He had recruited dymensionalists from all over Remikra and assigned each of them to construct a section of Remikra. And in the last week of October, the plan was to hold a Conference to put the pieces together.
However, the pieces were inconsistent, leading to a great deal of debate among the leading members. Furthermore, reports began to emerge of a mysterious illness spreading rapidly and affecting the human brain in an adverse way. Termed Benjamin Arnold Syndrome, the disease destroyed brain tissue and was deadly to the victim. To make matters worse, the workers from Gymia and Western Combria carried a starkly nationalist sentiment about them and were opposed to Finzi. When Benjamin Arnold Syndrome began spreading in their community, the Finzi Administration swiftly imposed sanctions to prevent the spread of the disease, leading Combrian nationalists began propagating that the disease and the sanctions were part of a conspiracy on behalf of the Finzi Administration in order to control the population. This notion was false but was nonetheless appealing to a large portion of the Combrian population, who joined the ranks of the Knights of the Common Good, giving it a boost in membership and power, and staged a coup. During this uprising, the Quora Project was forced to disband, and Peter Quora, himself, forced to flee. While attempting to flee, Peter Quora and his group of friends and escorts came face-to-face with violent Combrian nationalists. A scuffle ensued, involving both gunshots and spellfire discharges; and during the fighting and chaos, Peter Quora disappeared.
Afterward
Not much is known about the whereabouts of Peter Quora since the incident of 1319. There is a report, however, of an elderly man claiming to be Peter Quora, who appeared at the site of the former North Kempton William Solomon Airfield, which would soon become the site of the National Institute of Research and development. It was at this time that this man indulged in work with dymensional planes. He was working to support an initiative led by James Lawrence Kontacet, who campaigned for more federal support of the Library of Circlaria. Kontacet announced his candidacy for Prime Minister in 1395, and in 1396, the man claiming to be Peter Quora signed a formal endorsement for him.
The man died peacefully later that year.
