It initially started off as a tense situation between the Divine Kingdom of Marlen to the North and the Divine Kingdom of Prestia to the South. Dominant in Marlen were two spheres of influence, one headed by the deity-equivalent Ferra and the other headed by the deity-equivalent Gorndon. These two deity-equivalents were played by two Members who, in reality, were in a romantic relationship with one another, and so had decided to effectively rule over their mutual spheres of influence in tandem...

That's hardly surprising, but nonetheless a disappointment. We found out about this rejection Wednesday afternoon and brought it up at our regular Wednesday night meeting. We initially started out by upholding the proposal, making adjustments to lower the expenses. But then a growing group of Members proposed to abandon the plan altogether...

I received word through the Society ticker, called the Ticketer, that a defector within the Physterrian Fleet had begun firing on our ships in the Sea of Marlen. My heart went to my throat when the news first broke, as I thought back to last night's conversation with Phyrran. However, when I joined the quest through my console, I was met immediately with Phyrran's avatar, Brobart...

The approach brought to me by Sara Pindroh earlier this month involved reaching out into Cabotton University and setting small pavilions in the central lobbies of each of the Five Houses, as well as the Slack and the Library, all places where students frequent between classes and in the early evening after classes end. We would, of course, require permission from University Administration to do this, a rule in place since even before Thomas Snow became the first Headmaster...

When I first met him today, I did not initially have a high opinion for this man, this so-called alumnus of the Society, named Thomas Mack. He seemed eccentric, talking loud at inappropriate times, and laughing at inappropriate things. We were at the Slack, discussing the concerns I had for the Society; and at one point, he got up out of his seat and actually started...

This all sprouted from a decision I made to pair with Dungeonmaster Zachary Landon to meet with some residents in the North Wing Basement Chamber to carry out an informal agenda. This would have involved inviting various friends to dinner at the Slack to start off with some relatable conversational topics, leading gradually into the fundraising needs of the Society...

I've never been inside the main chamber of the Office of University Affairs before, but its interior is one of a serious undertaking. A dark blue carpet lines the entire floor with the exception of the Dais up at the front, where stands the large table for the Panel lined with five great seats, each reserved for one of the Head Mediators. The walls and ceiling are that of white rough marble, but the entire Chamber is dark, for in between the pillars lining the walls hangs dark blue curtains. None of these are decorated...

I reminded everyone in the Affairs Chamber tonight that the Third Level Society has an important system of checks and balances, known as the Statute of Principle, to prevent dangerous shifts in the balance of power, noting that Administrators that keep order are employed by a Dungeonmaster elected by the Caucus and also noting the recent case a couple of years ago regarding Carla Wright and the Prefects...

With nothing else to say from the side supporting the current Headmaster, the Panel of Mediators stated that they would spend the remainder of the week discussing their decision and make an announcement come Monday evening...

As I return to the normal business of heading the Physterrian Fleet, however, I am met with a new challenge. I still have not heard from Phyrran Caltin lately, nor has his avatar shown. His recent opposition to the fundraising has left me concerned of deterioriation of diplomacy. But perhaps he is just busy...

It has been awhile since I wrote. The Spring Semester ended awhile back, but I decided to stay the summer at the University for a couple important reasons...

Speculation for this also led me to question whether or not Caltin was the one having turned us into the Cross Administration regarding that informal fundraiser meeting last spring. I met with Caltin one night before the end of June at the Slack, where he discussed with me his reason for withdrawal. Again, it was coursework, but he emphasized how much he actually enjoyed taking part in the Society...
