I had been staying indefinitely in the great Galleston Farmhouse since January; and mind you, it was a large house, enough to accomodate not only myself, but those of my friends from Cabotton. But anyway, ten days ago, I thought that I had done myself in, and that Cray Fenton and the Galleston family would send me packing.
Over the course of a day or two, however, that sort of a thing did not happen. Over the course of a few more days, things seemed peaceful, though not in a hostile way, more like in a way in which each rival party was unsure of the next course of action.
And then, miraculously, and lucky enough for me, the atmosphere began to recover, little by little, returning to the atmosphere of warmth and fellowship it had before the arrival of my crazy Third Level Society Colleagues. No one sign indicated this, just small gestures and what not.
Any thought I had that this was simply me in denial was completely diminished earlier this week, when Cray Fenton and Richard Galleston called for another "Circle" meeting, the first in a week and a half. And that happened tonight.
Hyla's idea of expansion was, on the most part, favored by all, including Fenton. So we formulated a concrete plan to make this a reality.
We decided tonight to divide the "Circle" into five "Smaller Circles," one for each of the five counties in our region. Our end was agreed upon to form our dymensional plane into a multi-frame dymensional plane very much like the Arturian Realm in the Third Level Society.
However, that is, at present, not an immediate possibility, for the resources required to build the frames and connect them are quite expensive. And may I mention that each frame dedicated to each county is planned to be located in the town of the Seat of that particular county, with exception to Northrange County, where this original frame will remain in the Galleston House in North Kempton. So to start, we will only have this one Original Dymensional Plane frame. However, we will factor in "marginal influences" from the other neighboring counties, very much like the Third Level Society has been factoring in "marginal influences" from the other Arturian worlds into the original Realm of Arturia in the days before the arrival of Marcus Terrings.
We will then, in each of our "Smaller Circles," send a party of representation to each Seat of the four surrounding counties in the hopes of gaining future participants and, very importantly, also gaining financial and resource donations. Upon optimal success, we will then have a dymensional plane built in each of the four Counties, connected to each other and to the Original Dymensional Plane here in the Galleston Farmhouse, with avatars traveling from one frame to another via ports like in the Third Level Society.
Different from the Third Level Society, though, we have no Statute of Principle. We have no official election schedule, and no official titles. We here are a fellowship of family and friends founded upon mutual trust and mutual respect, and every voice counts. The only notable similarity to the way things are done in Cabotton is that we vote 'yes' or 'no' by role-call voting; and that was introduced by Hyla shortly before her falling-out with Cray ten days ago.
As I've mentioned, each "Smaller Circle" will go to their respective County, and, hopefully, inspire a sufficient number of locals to join and enough figures in the community to contribute necessary funding and resources. However, our initial "Smaller Circle" will not impose leadership and governance in this case. We will simply establish a Chapter in each County, to be led similarly in democratic fashion equally by us and the locals who join. And each chapter will govern itself on the most part, which hopefully will contribute to the resolution of the controversy regarding the Basin District and the Mount Carris Perimeter, though there plan to be successive meetings between Chapters for an agreeable consensus.
The end, at this point, is to have a dymensional plane in each Chapter that is reasonably cohesive with respect to the Original Galleston Farmhouse Chapter and the other County Chapters.
That, of course, leaves an old and familiar caveat: the funding. The resources, including the frame bits, trecholator, and algorithm books, are resources especially challenging to come by. Not to mention, the man-hours behind building the dymensional frame for each Chapter is no walk in the park.
So we know that this will take years; and we agreed that, with each Chapter expected to institute an initiative for community-funding, following a timeline of ten years is sufficient.
I am very happy though, because we are all in agreement, both logistically and personally. In fact, Cray, Hyla, and I shook hands with each other in the end.
