Third Level Society: First Version
Story Six: Meona Bell

I, for the first time since before everything happened, engaged in the Arturian Realm with Captain Bornan to see if I could make any progress on at least identifying the Member behind the White Baroness. I won't explain everything that happened, for it was essentially a repeat of what happened before. I tried concealment with my avatar, but she saw right through it.

I went back to the Basement Level of Deering House, the gathering place for the unnamed organization led by Taylor and Sarah. Much fewer people were there now, as most are at a clearing in the woods East of here having a bonfire...a bonfire...of Kara Martins' flyers.

Ivella Ogden was back here in the Derring Basement meeting place...and so surprisingly was Dyla Cormick, who I realized now caught full wind of Kara Martins' accusations against her.

I will not repeat what Dyla said but it was quite profane. What I will say is that she blamed Kara's indoctrination on the indoctrination most likely given to her by Reornard Chaney.

"It's those people who are the reason for the darkfire prohibition here in this country," Ivella Ogden said. "This has nothing to do with the actual threat of darkfire cartels. Sure, they're dangerous, but they don't even account for one percent of the darkfire community. It's mostly those with the Syndrome and those who benefit off darkfire medical treatments; none of those people are dangerous. This is all being exaggerated immensely by the Reonard Chaney propagandists. Honestly, I think darkfire should be legalized."

"Agreed," Dyla said. "It was done in Acrea. It can be done here."

Honestly, at this point, I agree with both of them. I just feel that, given the political environment, we need to be cautious about overtly saying that. There may be allies, but there are also fierce enemies in positions of significant power.
