Now this has turned into quite the messy situation. So Dyla had a talk with Richard and told him to keep his distance. On the other side of the issue, though, he was right about the treachery with Travis and the other Sarah's avatar.
When my Great Priestess met up with Boldo and Brayda, cast by Travis and the other Sarah respectively, they had cast a very good impression on me. Apparently, it turned out that there was a figure named Magna Sacerdos, from one of the Divineworlds, who intended to fill the void of the White Baroness shortly after her end, have a monopolistic influence of power over the Underworld of Prestia Minor CCL, and turn it into a "world of light." My task was to join my army of daemons with the army of Boldo's daemons in the frontal assault against the evil regime, while Brayda's numerous company would cast a blockade around Prestia Minor CCL.
On Sunday night, our super-army assembled at the pearly gates of the supposed usurper of the Underworld, and those pearly gates looked very much out of place. Boldo gave the Great Priestess the top command, in other words, command to give the charge. I did that, and as soon as I did, Boldo's army started attacking mine.
I was completely bewildered. I had my Great Priestess order my army of daemons to stand ground as best as they could. Both of us were armed with cannons and supertanks, but my side was ultimately outgunned. It was about survival, not defeat of the other side. Unfortunately, even survival was not an option. And though my Great Priestess was quite powerful, she still could die and have to respawn. So I had her go incognito and slip away from this disgraceful battlefield. She barely escaped.
Fleeing the pursuit of Boldo's snipers, my Priestess hopped on her Richard Rohrbaugh X model and left the planet as quickly as possible, going concealed and slipping through Brayda's blockade.
She finally made it home to Galacia Minor CCXXXIV, but sadly the troubles were not over. Upon landing, I realized that Brayda had in fact taken effective control over the Great Priestess' home planet. It was mostly the Terraworld layer that was affected; the Divineworld had actually allowed her to do this, but then blamed me and had the Great Priestess downright kicked out.
This was a loss for me, and I was determined to do what it took to bring victory for my avatar. So I disengaged and went to the Society Library, determined to find everything I needed to know about Magna Sacerdos. It was my belief that Magna Sacerdos, himself or herself, who was behind the treacherous agenda set by Boldo and Brayda. I went to the Roster but no matter how hard I looked, there was no sign of Magna Sacerdos.
And then it occurred to me: Magna Sacerdos was an alias. I went upstairs to the proper University Library and secured a Book of Translation, and discovered that it was the Aerdyn language for Great Priestess.
Magna Sacerdos did not exist. It was a trick. No wonder I was unable to find it in the Member-Avatar Roster.
At this point, if I was like some people, I would try and take this to the Bookkeeper. However, this is par for the course of the principle of balance of dynamics. This incident touches on a concept known as "legal deception," because while they did convince me that Magna Sacerdos was an alias for my avatar's name, I should have thought to do some basic research and figure out the trick. That's the key, that it was easy to figure out the deception. An incident a few years back cast light on this between two Members and the Bookkeeper.
Nevertheless, I'm retiring for the night. I've put off my schoolwork for long enough. Also, tensions are building up in and around the University, especially with the upcoming strike.
