One week after Peter Crane was chased out of the Dungeonmaster's Office, he was ganged up on at his residence in Gymia.
I did not condone it, but nonetheless, Peter is not coming back.
After days and days of no indication of where he had gone since his departure on that airship, Richard Rohrbaugh came knocking on our door and telling us that Peter was at his home in Gymia. I piped up to say that perhaps we should just leave it and forget about Peter, since was gone and probably would not come back. But Dyla disagreed and said that we should march on his front yard and get an official resignation from him. Despite me trying to convince them otherwise, they opted to do just that.
The gathering on Peter Crane's front yard happened two days ago. I did not go but Dyla and Richard did. At first, it was just them and their closest followers. But then, apparently, more people, even those who had at first supported Peter Crane, came onto his property. Soon, things got pretty noisy and chaotic. Peter called the police to help control the crowd, but then he gave in that evening and signed an official letter of resignation from the Dungeonmaster position.
In a way, that sealed the end of Peter Crane's reign. I was never a loyal fan of his. So his departure is good.
Dyla, Richard, and I are running things, but again, there has to be a Dungeonmaster Tribunal, since we are past the September 24 Dungeonmaster election day.
By the way, in a sick irony, while we were all distracted by everything, just enough Society members paying attention to the election cycle voted to keep Peter Crane in the Dungeonmaster position. That was, of course, before he resigned. That means we have to have a Tribunal in place until the next elected Dungeonmaster officially begins his or her term in 1284.
Again, it's all a lengthy process.
