So to recapitulate the events having occurred since my last entry, we received an ultimatum from Headmaster Cross to either move the Third Level Society off Campus or to cease and desist all functions before the end of May.
This all sprouted from a decision I made to pair with Dungeonmaster Zachary Landon to meet with some residents in the North Wing Basement Chamber to carry out an informal agenda. This would have involved inviting various friends to dinner at the Slack to start off with some relatable conversational topics, leading gradually into the fundraising needs of the Society. So in other words, this would be a collective version of Sara Pindroh's informal approach.
We only held this meeting with people we knew had network relations to those with funds, and of these people, only ones we could trust to not blow us out of proportion and falsely accuse us of trying to solicit without permission.
Unfortunately, our judgement turned out to be wrong. Someone in that meeting, or possibly someone eavesdropping, ran a report to the Headmaster's Office. And on Tuesday March 3, Zachary Landon received Cross' ultimatum.
It was me who voiced opposition to this and wrote to the Office of University Affairs to contest Cross' memo. The Affairs Office asked me to have Zachary Landon give written affirmation, since he was legally considered to be "Head of the Organization." Zachary Landon quickly gave such affirmation; and the Affairs Office gave both Headmaster Cross and the Society a summons to attend an official hearing to begin on Monday April 2.
And so we wait.
In terms of the identity of the said whistleblower, I am not sure. However, I have not heard from Phyrran Caltin lately.
