I finally did it! I finally planted the seeds!

I spent a great deal of the last few days crafting my newly-attained granular plane, and I finally got the environmental settings just right. Tonight, I planted the seeds, apparently one of the first students from any university to do so. My next step is to gather information on other favorable plant species.

Not much else has been going on in my life in recent days other than Maggie Terreth updating her article again based on new information from Stamp. It was more of the same, adding to the growing list of concerning deeds that Stamp has committed.

There is also the questing in the Arturian Realm. I had been so busy with the Chemkan Bee Project that I only went on two this week: the first was with Bernard on an Airmaster quest. The second quest was yet another with Meghan. Like last time, it was mostly menial and more of a chance for her and me to talk amid our busy lives.

Meanwhile, Dungeonmaster Rhodes has had more shenanigans over the Ticketer. Lately, she challenged Otto Worren to a "fight-out" quest, which, in my opinion, Otto would certainly win. Thus far, Otto has left the challenge unanswered.

Speaking of Monika, Layda Marrows reported nothing out of the ordinary on her, except that Monika is simply bad-mouthing my brother and asking for advice from Sara March.

I have to add something else to this entry, though, based on what I just learned from Aledon. Meona Bell passed away yesterday. This news hit me unexpectedly, because as far as I knew, Meona was the healthier one; we had been concerned for Cray Fenton.

When I was in high school, I had a brief interest in the Circle Project, the one that Cray Fenton ran in North Kempton. I had wanted to join, but they, like the Society, had a minimum recruitment age of 18 years. Needless to say, I was too young at the time. And of course I was dejected, but it was Meona Bell who encouraged me to keep my chin up, to take note of how everything worked, and to draft my avatar on paper so that, come time, I would be able to spend less time setting up my avatar and more time engaging it.

I became friends with Cray not long after. And since he and Meona were friends, we would all hang out at the Galleston Farmhouse every weekend when the residence had no active session.

Later on, Aledon came back to visit us during one of his breaks, and told me everything about the Third Level Society. I switched gears, thinking that I would prepare my on-paper avatar for that instead. But then Aledon got rather busy with schoolwork and his Dungeonmaster role, and did not visit as much. So I meandered a little in my interests. After a while, I shelved the avatar and focused on the worldbuilding aspect of the Circle Project, thus how I became interested in plants.

Meona approached me again at that point, though, and talked me into bringing back my avatar. It was a bit of a mess by the time I showed up to Cabotton, but the rest is history, as I have written about.

Last summer, Cray had a fall and spent two or three days in the hospital. I had grown close to him by that point and was sad, on the inside, about his decline. Meona was the one whose words of comfort really touched me. I forget exactly what she said, but she gave me confidence.

So I will definitely miss her.

I know that Cray misses her too, which is no help to him in his frail state. I need to drop what I'm doing and give comfort to him and the Circle Project community.
