I am in North Kempton presently.
This morning, I approached Meghan Wen in her practice room during her early session and spent a little quality time with her before leaving. After that, I went with Aledon aboard a gyroplane out of the Gentry County Airfield and flew to North Kempton.
It was a wonderful service for Meona. To say that it was a sad farewell would be a massive understatement. There were so many lives she touched, I realized. The whole experience felt unreal to me, though, despite the long life that she lived.
One thing I noticed was that Cray was not there. Aledon and I concluded that his health prevented him from going, whether it was a matter of the grief crushing him or simply physical inhibition. But I know in my heart that he was present in spirit.
Tomorrow, we fly back to Cabotton.
