The white and yellow lights of the University Campus came into view below as the gyroplane made its final approach to the Airfield. Aledon had insisted on taking one, as opposed to the University Airship, in the hopes of avoiding Monika. I obliged to go with him. And I did not regret it. Not only was it faster; it also offered a change of scenery. I, too, was glad to be avoiding Monika...

Warmth from the hot spring day still lingered in the air as I made my way through the Main Campus to the Music Building, behind which flashed heat lightning from a distant thunderhead, in contrast to the tranquil stars and planets lining the night sky directly above and the shimmering lights lining the sidewalks...

The past few days have consisted primarily of me tending my granular plane garden as well as partaking in quests with Meghan's avatar in the Arturian Realm, which I've noticed has been calmer since most students left for summer break...

The quest was set in River City, a random settlement on a less-popular planet in the Cresca Sector. Basically, the city was sprawled over two river valleys toward the East that merged into one great river in the West. The ruling palace was right on the merging point of those rivers. And the landscape was that of the Steam Age; the city was not one of the inter-planetary hubs. This lay under a smog-filled sky and was criss-crossed by railroads and cobblestone streets lined with brick-and-mortar homes and businesses...

Meghan came to me last night, wanting to sleep at my place because, as she put it: "Stamp's invaded our dorm wing." The next morning, she showed me what she was talking about. To say that his flyers were plastered all over the bulletin boards, even overflowing them, was a massive understatement. And the corridor near her suite was lined with "advance voting ballot boxes" in the corridors near her room...

This past weekend was a repetition of this past March, with Aledon and me going to North Kempton to attend Cray Fenton's memorial. Before I left, I had morning coffee with Meghan at the Slack. Then Aledon and I hopped on a gyroplane flight to North Kempton...

Carrying my overnight bag, I proceeded up the ramps to Meghan's living suite, mentally channeling out the Stamp propaganda plastered along the walls and overflowing the bulletin boards. It was just after 10:30 when I knocked on her door. Meghan answered it and gave me a kiss. "Any trouble along the way?" she asked...

Late on the night of September 16, I fell asleep in my bed, in my living suite, with Meghan cuddled in my arms. When I woke up on the morning of September 17, she was already up and in the kitchen. I realized that she couldn't sleep any better than me...

This week, I found who I thought was a certified beekeeper in Northern Combria. I wrote to them, and they responded with a "Loyalty Security Fee" to be paid before they would ever disclose their address. Aledon told me this was a scam, so I blocked the beekeeper from my OCEA account...
